Changes to sales & use tax to note going into April 2020

Stadium Sales tax ends starting April 1st

The following sales tax rates apply to taxable sales and taxable purchases in the five Wisconsin counties that comprise the baseball stadium district:

Menominee County Adopts 0.5% County Tax

Beginning April 1, 2020, a 5.5% sales and use tax rate will apply to taxable sales and taxable purchases made in Menominee County. The rate is 5% prior to April 1, 2020.

If you are a seller registered to collect Wisconsin sales or use tax, you must collect Menominee County tax on sales made in Menominee County, regardless of whether you are located in Menominee County.

When you report sales or purchases in Menominee County using My Tax Account, the new 5.5% rate will automatically be applied for periods beginning April 1, 2020.
